Students celebrate exceptional Post-16 results at Bishop Laney Sixth Form

There was a real sense of pride and celebration across Ely College and Bishop Laney Sixth Form, part of Meridian Trust, as students received their post-16 results today.
Individual successes from Bishop Laney Sixth Form include:
- - Anastasia Akritidou who achieved 2 grade As in Geography and Maths as well as an A* in Economics and will be continuing their education at Durham University.
- - Mae Hickford who achieved 2 grade A*s in Accountancy and Economics as well as an A in Maths and will be continuing their education with a degree level apprenticeship in accountancy locally.
- - Emily Rutherford who achieved 2 grade As in Biology and Chemistry as well as an A* in Maths and will be taking a gap year whilst pursuing a degree in Medicine and Surgery.
- - Edward Marygold who achieved 3 grade As in Computer Science, Maths and Physics and will be continuing their education at University of Leicester studying Engineering.
- - Thomas Sims who achieved D*DD (Distinction grades) in BTEC Level 3 Exercise and Sport Science and will be joining the University of East Anglia to study Physiotherapy.
